Favicon (pronounced fav-eye-con) can be created to make that small icon that is saved when you save a bookmark in your browser. It identifies your website with it’s design, just like the green square with BON stamped in it that this website uses.

You can use a favicon generator to create one of these and then upload it to your main directory of your domain. Here is one of those websites called HTML Kit where you can upload a file and turn it into a favicon. The download it and save it to your computer. Then re upload it to your domain.
