Elermore Vale Community Hall has launched its new website, all the activities at the new site will be listed when details are made available. They have Yoga Classes and Self Defence classes. The Hall is open for bookings on a casual basis and long-term, you can book the hall for many kinds of activities, business meetings, and meetings of all kinds. Men’s Shed Elermore Vale Need Donations, they have built a shed and it looks like they are building another shed! Sorry I don’t have a e-mail address for them as yet. They are looking for donations of all kinds, if you have a spare metal work lathe or a bench drill, they would appreciate the donation, any kind of donations will be gratefully accepted. Elermore Vale Men’s Shed meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.00 pm. They do a lot of good work for the community and they are a non-profit organisation, and all donations are tax deductible. They seem to be a very active group and have a well established garden bed and they are located on the grounds of Elermore Vale Community Centre.
I have tried to contact them and if they would like their own WordPress blog site I will build them one for free. Any Men’s Sheds that want their own blog site can contact me no matter where you are in Australia I can build you a blog site. All you need is your own domain name, I recommend Godaddy for buying a domain name, and get a dot com domain they attract more visitors.

Update 03/03/2012 I ended up joining the Elermore Vale Men’s Shed and built them a new website/blog site! I see lots of Men’s Sheds out there that don’t have an online presence, and again I make the offer of building any Men’s Shed a free blog site. It only cost the Elermore Vale Men’s Shed the cost of a domain name, I brought one for them at $4.69 at Godaddy.com and donated this years domain fee to them so they are online for free, next year they will have to pay the domain fees themselves. It only takes me about half a day to install a blog site and a few minutes to tell them how to get access to their site, if you can type, then you can write your own pages and posts. I also signed up for the Elermore Vale Community Centre while I was, there and made them a new blog site. It is only very new, as I type this, they both liked my template so much, so I installed the same one on them.
Time marches on and our Men’s Shed has just been approved for our ABN registration at Elermore Vale Men’s Shed ABN 26 176 420 728 I have even agreed to become the new Public Relations Officer/Public Officer, normally I would run a million miles with the mention of the word committee, but they are really good group to work with and easy to get on with, so I said yes.
